More than just Braille

When dealing with a blind customer for the first time, many people’s initial instinct is to think of Braille. However, many blind people cannot read Braille at all. That’s not to say that Braille isn’t important, for many blind people it is the format of choice, but audio CD’s and Adapted Large Print are very popular accessible formats and are often cheaper for you and more accessible to a wider customer base. Beyond adapted large print and audio and Braille formats for blind people there’s also Easy Read and Easy Audio for people with learning disabilities and for people who do not have English as their first language. For more about all the different formats available, including tactile graphics as well as the more common Audio, Braille and adapted Large Print, call us on 0207 5177 856 or email info@bayfieldmedia.com
